Dunfermline-based Sonis Smart Security has developed a state-of-the-art wireless smart security system that is set to revolutionise home security.

NoEntry is the world’s first wireless single-sensor smart home alarm system. The self-installed, plug n’ play home alarm activates before intruders enter the building. The system can be set up by anyone (with no technical expertise) in minutes, covering all home entry points and does not require door and window motion sensors with no hard wiring required. The device is pet friendly and is fully smartphone-enabled and controlled.

Bill Marr, Managing Director, Sonis Smart Security Ltd said: “We are delighted to bring to market NoEntry. It represents a game changer for the sector. With no professional installation and hard wiring required, NoEntry costs as little as one-third of the cost of a conventional wired security system. This will make home  security truly affordable for all.”

Bill continued: “We recognised the need for this ground-breaking device over several years. Research suggests that as many as one-third of homes have no security system at all; we believe this is a statistic that is unacceptable in society today. We are acutely aware of the financial pressures households are under now, however, home security should not be seen as a luxury, it’s a necessity. That is why we have developed NoEntry – an affordable smart security system that  covers the whole property without the need for costly ongoing maintenance  costs.”

The palm-sized burglar alarm, NoEntry, uses patented sound signature technology that activates before intruder entry and covers the entire house. This innovation represents the first major technological breakthrough in home security since the invention of PIR (Passive Infrared Sensors) over 50 years ago.

The company behind this innovation is Sonis Smart Security Limited. Headquartered in Dunfermline Fife, they have over 60 years of experience in electronics and developing innovative security systems for blue-chip clients.

NoEntry has been developed specifically for homes, rented accommodation,  holiday accommodation, caravans, motorhomes and heavy goods vehicles (helping tackle the illegal immigration stowaway problem at ferry ports etc).

The product has been designed, developed and manufactured in Fife and represents another pioneering technology to emerge from the Kingdom.

There is an exciting roadmap for future product enhancements including cameras and integrated smoke & carbon monoxide alarms.
